The fourth floor of this university accommodation block functions as a cheap hotel. Rooms have two or four beds and are basic but clean enough, as are the shared bathrooms. Go down Ualikhanov from Satpaev and in through a black iron gate on the left, then into the first door of the building on the left. 'Reception' is the first room on the left, inside.
