This is a very friendly hostel in a quiet location behind the Monasterio Santa Catalina. It has immaculate rooms with TVs, private bathrooms and colorful woolly bedspreads. You'll just have to ignore the cacophonous echoing hallways. Rates drop 25% in the low season.
