This luxurious suite hotel with 54 units is primarily aimed at German and Austrian business travellers, though they seem to do a fair amount of business with the nearby Central European University.

The suites, which are uniform in layout, consist of a bedroom, living room and bathroom and range in size from 40 to 60 sq m. The bathrooms are equipped with either shower or bathtub and there are no kitchens; the units have microwave ovens only (breakfast is available in the in-house Starlight Café). Decor is a mix of minimalist and chintz - hard edges and triangular shapes, light woods, leather and steel in the living areas, blue and yellow checks and floral patterns in the bedrooms - in an apparent attempt to please the male and female in all of us. It works - kinda. The location is great: a block east of the Danube and directly behind the palatial Four Seasons Gresham Palace Hotel. Check the internet for weekend promotions.
