Located right beside Manila Bay, the Westin is one of the successes of Imelda's CCP orgy: it's still standing and it remains popular. A refit in 2005 has given it new public spaces and even locals drop by for the dreamy sunsets over the bay. A lagoon-shaped swimming pool, an 18-hole putting green and tennis courts heighten the feeling of being in a resort. Rooms are quite comfortable.
