The undisputed backpacker headquarters, and the best place to fill out a tour group. A clean and surprisingly quiet posada with 25 rooms with fans, hot water and a basic kitchen downstairs. Half-day shower-and-rest rates (r per person around 7) and a shower-only option (per person around 2) are great for cleaning up after a Roraima trek or grabbing a nap before the night bus to Ciudad Bolívar. Bulletin boards on the front patio announce upcoming trips.
