Lombok's hippest hotel, combining textbook minimalist style with Balinese and Japanese design influence. The rooms are undeniably gorgeous (book 8 for the best sea view) and popular with moneyed Europeans and rich kids from Jakarta. There's a small pool at the ocean's edge and a very fine restaurant. You'll find the staff are extremely well trained and welcoming.For groups or the seriously solvent, there are two private villas (from 325 a night) up in the hills behind the hotel, each with private pool and butler service that come close to defining Lombok luxe.
