This friendly family-run affair, 3km mototaxi ride) northwest of town, gets good reviews from readers. It's in a modern building, and good-sized rooms come with TV and minifridges. There is a small garden area to relax in and great views of the surrounding misty mountains. The best thing is the Amazonian breakfasts, which change daily.
