About 5km north of Matagalpa on the road to Jinotega, comfortable modern rooms have little extras like furry floral toilet covers in the private hot-water bathrooms, and huge cable TVs. Meals are available, which is a good thing, since there's not much else around except for the two manzanas of coffee planted right out back and several trails worth wandering into the mountains.
