A location right on the northern tip of the island of Rhoda ensures that most rooms have excellent views. While the location is a little inconvenient, the myriad Hyatt amenities go some way to make up for it.While this hotel has had more name changes than Sean 'Puffy' Combs, it finally appears to be settled in its role as a Hyatt with its polished wood, marble and plush carpets. The curvaceous hotel takes full advantage of its position, with most of the restaurants and bars facing the tip of the island, providing breathtaking views. All rooms of the hotel are stylish, if a little conservative, and come with all of the expected five-star amenities. The health club has great views and the hotel has its own shopping centre and cinema. While there's too many restaurants to mention by name, the lounge of the revolving restaurant is noteworthy for the views.

This is a great spot to take a stroll around the Garden City area, with its shady streets and enormous old mansions. Given the position you'll probably want to take a walk along the Nile and perhaps take a felucca (traditional sailing boat) ride.
