The closest Ouaga comes to a travellers' hang-out, Le Pavillon Vert is laid-back and highly recommended. The rooms (especially those with air-con) are spacious and all the facilities, from the rooms to the shared bathrooms, are spotless. The courtyard bar and restaurant are refuges from the clamorous African streets just outside the gate. Staff are also friendly, professional and able to provide bicycles to explore Ouaga.
