At this smart business hotel the contemporary decor in metallic shades is sparked up with colourful retro prints, including ones by Vladimir Tretchikoff. The location is excellent - just off fashionable Kloof St with its many trendy bars and restaurants.The hotel is also a short ride from the Central Business District and the Waterfront. To make things even easier, the hotel lays on a shuttle bus several times a day from 08:00 to 17:00 Monday to Friday. The swimming pool is a mosaic affair that cascades stylishly over a ledge into a vaguely Japanese garden with a pond full of koi; it also has a spectacular view of Table Mountain, as do several of the rooms. The hotel has its own restaurant, 2 On Milner, which has a warmer look than the hotel. And attentive, friendly staff are certainly welcome too.
