This enduring and deservedly popular spot enjoys a privileged location in the centre of Perissa, just yards from the beach, bus stop and services, in a quiet back street that gives it the feel of an exclusive resort.

In many ways this is exactly the sort of place that springs to mind when you think of a Greek island holiday. Elegant white buildings with balustrades and balconies hedge in a fine, deep pool surrounded by sun lounges. A bar dispenses cheap beer, good breakfasts and snack food, while the air-conditioned rooms are cheap, cool and comfortable. All rooms have private bath and low, solid wooden beds; all are spruce and recently painted. All have balconies; some of these face seawards. There are only 22 rooms, so the place has a sociable and friendly feel. Off-season the price drops to criminally low levels. If you ring ahead, the eponymous boss will pick you up gratis from ferry port or airport and drop you off too, although a bus from Firá also leaves you right on the doorstep. A great place and an absolute bargain.
