Heeey, now this place is cool! You might feel like you're in a David Lynch movie as you wander the darkened, mirror-lined corridors to your room, one of 40 spread over two levels. Even the standard rooms have classy trimmings like gilt-edged mirrors, superior linen and plasma screens.

Of course, the best thing about the Kirketon is its location, smack-bang in the middle of the Darlinghurst-Kings Cross-Paddington 'Axis of Entertainment'. This is where Sydneysiders party, and if you're staying here too, there won't be much point acting like a wallflower - get out there amongst it! And when you need a lie down, the Kirketon's seductive embrace will be waiting for you. Beyond the granite floors of the lobby, lounge music plays discreetly along darkened corridors, promoting curiosity of the 'Who else is staying here?' variety. Behind closed doors you'll find plasma screen TVs, Kevin Murphy toiletries, bountifully stocked mini-bars, quality linen, super-squishy pillows and subtle, moody colour schemes. Excellent security completes the picture. Great bang for your buck.
