Rightly boasting its status as the only hostel on a pedestrian street in Córdoba, the Baluch offers all the standard hostel amenities, plus an excellent rooftop bar/BBQ/chillout area. A great atmosphere makes up for a few minor faults.Set in a classic old house, the Baluch's only real problem is lack of space. Winding hallways give the hostel a bit of a rabbit warren feel, but apart from that, this place rocks. The common area boasts a well-stocked DVD library, internet access and a good kitchen area. However, the real beauty here is the roof terrace. Cushions and hammocks make the area extremely comfortable - a great place to have a few drinks and meet up with other travelers before immersing yourself in Córdoba's hectic nightlife.

Just around the corner at the intersection of Colón and Indarte is the Jesuit Crypt, which lay buried and forgotten for over 150 years. These days, the strange and atmospheric space has been turned into an underground museum, and one that you're not likely to forget in a hurry.
