The Brezina is a welcoming pension in a converted Art Nouveau apartment block. There's a pleasant garden with a fountain at the back, where you can sit and have a drink in summer. There are three categories of rooms, ranging from basic, with shared bathroom, to the comfortable 'lux' rooms. Rooms facing the street can be pretty noisy.

The friendly Brezina has 50 rooms in total, 46 of them falling into their top category. Most are reasonably spacious, and although rather plain, they're spotlessly clean and well maintained. Two of these rooms can be joined together to form a two-bedroom apartment, while the attic rooms, with exposed wooden beams and slanted ceilings, have a bit more character. There are two 'tourist' rooms, which are a bit smaller, and have more basic furnishings, although each has an en suite and a kitchenette. Cheapest of all are the two 'economy' rooms, which share a bathroom and a kitchen. They are located on the ground floor, looking out onto the courtyard, and are a real bargain for budget travellers. Breakfast is extra, and notebook computers can be rented; 'lux' rooms have free Internet.
