Located among a small string of hotels, this charming guesthouse is the best choice on the block - if it isn't already full. You'll feel as comfortable here as in your own home and it's only a 10-minute walk to the boho bar scene, making it a choice, well, choice.

Impeccable service is what this family-run hotel is all about - you won't wait for anything. On arrival, the Doña will show you around her converted home, lead you to a spotless room, and double-check that you've got everything you need: thick towels, extra soap, remote control, and with a flip of a switch, air-con. She'll ask if you want to call home to check in with your family - three minutes are free to the USA and Europe - and remind you that Internet here is complimentary. Meals are extra, but not by much, and if you've got any laundry, hand it over and you'll have your clean threads back by the end of the day.
