Address: Julián álvarez 1779, Palermo soho , Buenos aires C1414DSI, Argentina Show on map
In 2003, mother and daughter duo Cecilia and Agustina opened their converted 1937 home to accommodate overnighters, offering a lovely, homey place to lay the weary head. Rooms are delightfully furnished with old armoires and such, and the living room and outdoor patio make you feel right at home.A grand total of seven rooms are offered in this cozy and elegant old house. Downstairs, the 'Lino' room has soothing champagne walls, a king bed and a giant mirror-front armoire. The upstairs 'suite' boasts a spacious bath (complete with a bronze sink), a king-size bed and a cosy, old fashioned reading nook. The nook itself opens onto a balcony overlooking the garden. The 'Blanco' and 'Azul' rooms share a bath and are named after the colours of their walls (white and blue, respectively). Thanks to numerous windows, all of the rooms are well-lit and airy. Out back, the patio is filled with plants and vines climb the neighbouring buildings, making the whole scene inviting and tranquil, and at night pretty candles are lit. The excellent buffet breakfast consists of fruit, cereal, yogurt and juice and everyone sits at a communal table. There's even a refreshing afternoon tea, with organic pastries.
