This sweet posada at the center of town is a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle on the surrounding streets. Located above and behind a gift shop on Av Misiones, it's easy to miss this little yellow stucco house. But if you keep your eyes peeled, you'll be glad you did.

Take your pick from two categories of room: cheaper ones with fans and shared facilities (one bathroom between two guestrooms), and more expensive ones with air-conditioning and private bathrooms. Either way, they are simply decorated and poorly lit. But colorful sheets, wood furniture and painted stucco walls work well to brighten them up. The pricier rooms look out onto the back yard, which is filled with greenery. A full breakfast is served in the open air, under a thatch roof. Other perks include on-site Internet access, ultra-friendly management and a resident dog who eagerly welcomes guests.
