This is a friendly Irish pub that has traditionally decorated, well-furnished rooms (with bathroom no less!) at truly great prices and an unbeatable location if you're hankering to be in the thick of things.It's also surprisingly quiet, although there is a lot of Irish music (among other types) played here - a warning for truly light sleepers and those allergic to jigs. Most people seem to come here for the warm welcome and the nice atmosphere. There's nothing posh about a stay here, but you will feel like a valued guest. Everything is well maintained, plus all the accommodation is nonsmoking (not so the very smoky, boozy pub below). Nab a Harbour View Suite (complete with kitchenette) if you're in the mood to treat yourself to a bargain and appreciate little touches such as faux-period details and twinkling skyline lights at night.
