You are guaranteed a warm welcome at the friendly, family-run Pousada do Santinho. The rooms are plain but clean; just as the grounds are barren, but perfectly pleasant. And, the beach is just over the dunes.

Guest quarters are spread out around the spacious grounds. The rooms vary in size and style, but all provide the basic facilities, (if not much more). At the Pousada do Santinho, they recognize that you are not going to be spending your vacation in your room; instead, you might spend it lounging around the swimming pool, or relaxing in the sauna. Most likely you'll be spending it on the beach - the Praia do Santinho is the best surfing beach in the northern part of the island. It's also the least developed, thanks to the protected area of dunes that acts as a barrier between the beach and encroaching civilization. But no matter where you spend your days, you will surely appreciate starting them with the hearty breakfast buffet included in the cost of your room.
