A warren of staircases and narrow passages link this mixed bag of en suite rooms. The great attraction is being able to stay right in the heart of Old Town for such unusually reasonable summer rates. Overall the rooms are much better value than the apartments.

You shouldn't expect five-star standards but there are plenty of little quirks and the stairways are merrily overloaded with randomly selected oddments of artwork. Of over a dozen options, the best budget choices are room Nos 2, 6 and 7. The latter two share a hot plate and kitchen sink and both look out over the alleyway. Room No 6 has a tiny balcony onto which two wicker chairs only just squeeze, along with quite a few ants. The walls have a couple of small damp patches but the queen-sized bed is bigger than the very narrow offering in room No 7. The best deal is split-level room No 2, where the toilet and somewhat dribbly shower are in the eaves above your king bed. None of the rooms are air-conditioned.

Our apartment no.10 can accommodate up to 4 people. It includes one master bedroom with king size bed, bathroom with a washing machine, second bedroom with two single beds and another bathroom, living room with a sofa bed, fully equipped kitchen and a balcony.

Apartment Antunini no.6 can accommodate 2 people and includes one bedroom with double bed, bathroom, small balcony and kitchen.

Apartment Tiffany no.4 can accommodate 2 people and includes one bedroom with queen size bed and bathroom.

Apartment Astarea can accomodate up to 7 people. It includes two double bedrooms, one triple bedroom, two bathrooms, 2 kitchens and dining room.

All apartments are very well furnished and decorated to a high standard with first quality materials; well-situated offer excellent value especially for those traveling with friends or family.
