Francouzska 76,
The Czech Inn calls itself a hostel, but ‘luxury boutique’ wouldn’t be out of place. Everything seems sculpted by an industrial designer on Ian Schrager’s payroll, from the handcrafted iron beds to the swish brushed-steel flooring and minimalist square sinks – right out of a German design catalogue. The Czech Inn offers a variety of accommodation, from standard hostel dorm rooms to good-value private doubles (with or without attached bath), and one-, two- or three-room apartments. The fifth-floor apartments come with a shared rooftop terrace and sleep up to eight. A bank of internet terminals in the lobby and an adjoining bar-cafe round out the charms.
