It's the little things that make the bigger picture entirely elegant, like Balinese four-poster beds and elegant mosquito nets. The sunken restaurant is also an asset, as is the rooftop lounge bar. It's hard to find a vibrant but spacious place in Baga, but you've found it in Casa Baga.

Rooms in the main building of brand-new Casa Baga have resplendent balconies, some facing the Arabian sea. Stylish bathrooms make the act of doing one's daily business seem like an elegant affair. This is even more so in the four rooms around the pool. High-walled but roofless bathrooms mean you can shower (or whatever else needs to be done) under the sun and stars. Furniture and fittings have been imported from Bali, and stone floors add class. The sunset lounge on the rooftop offers a magnificent view of palm trees and the Arabian sea beyond, as well as a birds-eye view of The Congo Bar (one of Baga's classiest nightspots) just below. The fact that there are only fifteen rooms will mean that the well-thought-out facilities will feel like they're entirely yours. The beach is a five-minute walk down a pleasant village road.
