The High View Resort is perched on a ridge outside Dhulikhel with eye-level views of the awesome Himalaya. Huge deluxe rooms come with a private balcony where you can even appreciate the magnificent views while you are taking a shower!

It feels like you've really earned your views after you've made the stiff five-minute climb up the steps to get to the resort. From then on it's all about the Himalayan vistas, whether from the restaurant rooftop (great for breakfast), the balconies of the two storey villas, or from your bed. The upper-floor rooms really put you at eye-level with the peaks, making you feel like you are floating. The cheaper rooms by the restaurant are smaller but still pleasant. Ask for a hot water bottle before you go to bed and pack a jumper as it gets cold up here between November and March. Definitely one of the best value places in the region.
