For your money this is the best hostel in Vilnius, although it's more of a hybrid between a guesthouse and a hostel than a straight hostel. The small singles with shared bathrooms are a phenomenal option for solo travellers wary of communal living but keen on a cheap bed.Don't worry, the public bathrooms here are nothing to be afraid of, although the bed-to-bathroom ratio leaves a bit to be desired. Most rooms in this imposing old manor house are doubles or singles with shared facilities; a few, oddly, contain free-standing shower stalls. There's also one 4-bed and one 5-bed dorm room. The friendly staff speak good English and will do your laundry for a fee. You could land a helicopter in the huge parking lot. Cars - but presumably not helicopters - park for free. There's also free wi-fi and Internet on the house computer. Breakfast costs extra and is served in a communal kitchen that, while functional, lacks table and fridge space. It may not be immediately obvious but you're less than 10 minutes from Old Town and even closer to 'downtown' Užupis.
