Brownhill Creek swirls through a lush, steep-sided valley in the heart of the lovely Brownhill Creek Recreation Park, and it's at this peaceful, beautiful location that a marvellous camping and caravan park is set.There's a refreshing chill in the air here on winter mornings and plenty of birdsong to provide a melodious start to the day. The grounds are festooned with local fowl, which march proprietorially around the small swimming pool and float atop the gentle creek. One- and two-bedroom cabins have their own en suites and kitchens, and sit up on the lip of the creek's northern embankment. Large groups or families should check out the three-bedroom villas, which have one queen-size bed and two sets of double bunks. Many of the available camping sites are unfortunately on sloping ground, which is not ideal for those wanting to pitch a tent.
