This is an old time backpacker favourite. Features include a striking mermaid mural and bits and pieces of local artwork hung on the walls. The whole place is funky and worn in a very agreeable kind of way.Set in a classic old building, Tina's rooms provide just enough comfort without going over the top. But hey - you're here to swim, snorkel, dive, etc, right? Hotel luxury shouldn't be a priority. Dorms have four bunks per room, and are divided by gender, as are the bathrooms. Windows are mosquito proofed and mattresses are good, even if they have seen better days. Private rooms are in a similar vein - good enough without being too flashy. There's a full kitchen for guests to use and a sweet little front yard area strung with hammocks and dotted with chairs. The hotel fronts onto the beach, where there's a private dock for swimming and sunbathing.

A short walk to the north is the area called The Split, where a channel runs between two sections of the island. There's a stretch of sandy beach here, unlike most of the coastline which has protected sea grass. Icy cold beers are readily available from the Lazy Lizard bar nearby.
