Somewhat secluded on a tree-lined boulevard, the secure Atlántida has a cool, modern ambience and convenient restaurant. Slightly faded rooms get bonus points for safety deposit boxes and hairdryers. It's a few minutes' walk uphill from Plaza Venezuela through a scary tunnel; look for the squat white box with barbed-wire trim.
