The Groupe Germain is emerging as Canada's most innovative and trend-setting boutique hotel chain, and its latest Toronto venture is by far their best. Fit for the cover of Wallpaper magazine, this haven of serenity is (im)perfectly located in Toronto's boisterous Entertainment District (earplugs are provided for light sleepers).

A candlelit fireplace divides the refreshing wooden lobby from the library, where you're free to fix yourself a cappuccino and relax with a book or two. Superior rooms are spacious and refreshingly sparse, with luxurious down-filled duvets and pillows. For a little extra the deluxe rooms offer even more space and larger windows. The Zen-inspired furniture and Aveda bath amenities in the guest rooms promise an 'ocean of well-being'; in-room Bose stereos, 27-inch flat screen TVs and high-speed Internet access ensure your technological needs are well looked after. If this doesn't sound like quite enough comfort for you, the executive suites have fireplaces, wet bars and private terraces. All rooms come with spacious bathrooms, with glass windows looking into the main room - a blind is provided for shy guests.
