At humble Havinn you get a bed in a co-ed room to share with only one or two others. It's clean and convenient and there are shared kitchen facilities if you prefer to dine at home.

In a residential part of Spadina, just north of the busy Annex area, this cheap hotel offers a great location for those willing to walk a little to save money. If you get beyond the eclectic shops and outstanding restaurants and bars of the Annex and head a little further southwest, you'll have even more to choose from in Little Italy. Everything is wooden in Havinn - no carpets and no rugs - which is good news for allergy sufferers. Parking is free and the cable TV includes free movie channels. Rates include a 'super-continental' breakfast and there are discounts offered in the winter months. This hotel is highly recommended by many budget travellers.
