A business-class facility located close to Seoul's corporate centre in and around Samseong station and COEX complex. Friendly multilingual staff and an interior of warm pastels and tasteful wood trim make this an attractive place to do business. It's not quite a boutique hotel, but this smart and stylish 135-room facility does come close to demonstrating a sense of verve and creativity. There are many room categories and price options, each with a slightly different decor that shows taste and restraint - two qualities not altogether evident in some of the nearby business-class hotels. If budget is a non-issue, ask for a luxury room with a balcony - a charming walk-out patio surrounded by lattice, vines and greenery, with a pine floor large enough to hold a small party. There's also a touch of class evident in the bathrooms, where frosted glass blocks bring natural light inside to create a bright and softly illuminated space. Despite its close proximity to the Han River, room views are mostly disappointing unless you enjoy watching traffic move along the Cheongdam Rotary.
