Just squeezing into the top-most edge of the mid-range category, this is Connaught Place's most modern and comfortably-appointed midrange choice. Rooms are small but nicely decorated, with small flat-screen TVs and cable channel access, perfect for an evening's lounging in bed.

The Jukaso Inn Downtown is a rare thing indeed in central Delhi: a reasonably priced hotel whose rooms have been given recent and careful consideration. Though the rooms' diminutive size and decorative features - which range from the floral to the sterile - might not be to your taste, they're clean, modern and comfortable, and the bathrooms, too, are well maintained, with plenty of hot water on tap. A generous complimentary breakfast buffet to set you up for a day's sightseeing, a 24-hour coffee shop on site, helpful staff and free wi-fi throughout the hotel will together ensure your material needs are all well provided for.
