This is an excellent bottom-end deal. Rooms are light and airy, with high ceilings and plenty of space. The location, a stone's throw from the top end of La Rambla, is also ideal, offering a prime location without the noise.

This is the sort of place where guests stay out late and crash out until midday, secure in the knowledge that room cleaners and reception staff understand the sleep needs of late-night revellers. It's also the sort of place where they understand younger travellers but don't make a big fuss about it. Rooms don't have many flourishes but they are terrific value - comfortable, clean and well maintained. The best rooms are the doubles with their own toilet and shower. This is one place where a street-facing room offers all the benefits of a balcony with few of the drawbacks when it comes to noise - it's on one of the Barri Gòtic's quieter streets.
