With broadband Internet connections in the attractively designed rooms, the Canadian offers the business traveller or just anyone who wants a computer in their room a good reason to stay. The prices, too, make plenty of sense no matter how tech-savvy you are.The larger rooms actually come with broadband-connected desktop computers and DVD players, but even without such extras these rooms are undoubtedly the pick of the bunch. Those at the front are bright and windows look over Ð Pham Ngu Lao to 23/9 Park. The downside is the street noise, which can be well and truly loud enough to annoy light sleepers. Rooms at the back are darker, but also quieter. The hotel has a cool, crisp (Canadian?) look to it and is attractive in a pale blue kind of way. The smaller rooms are tiny and once you've dropped your bags there's no room to move. The lift, however, is a definite positive as you will be spared the stairs.
