Lonely Planet Review

Ciaran's Camp has stood its ground to remain one of the more unique and pleasant places to stay at what remains one of Goa's most beautiful beaches. Earthy but comfortable beach shacks surround the lawn and professional staff will ensure your holiday is all that it should be.Ciaran's Camp has worked hard to keep its proud style over the years. Huts are not cheap but they are particularly lovely; far more unique than the prolific coco huts that are littered along Palolem Beach. If you were stuck on a deserted but bountiful desert island, this is the sort of beach hut you would build in your wildest dreams (assuming you could cement the floor). All have their own veranda around the tidy fresh lawn. There's a lovely attention to detail: guests can enjoy chai in the afternoon and there is an impressive library which is free for guests to use. The restaurant cooks up a storm every night and attracts folk from all over the beach; it looks entirely inviting at night with candlelight glowing under white umbrellas.
