Lonely Planet review

The 13-room Chelsea is a bright comet in Sydney's B&B universe, occupying two gently crumbling terrace houses on one of Darlinghurst's coolest (and quietest) streets. You'll find two types of room here - contemporary or French Provincial - so take your pick and pack accordingly. The four single rooms here share two lovely bathrooms; all the other rooms have en suites. The king suites overlook the street and have their own verandahs for unwinding upon, and lucky room 13 has its own courtyard - a retreat within a retreat. All rooms have attractive furniture, flattering lighting and luxe bed linen. Service is both personal and discreet. The breakfast area is an antique-filled, terracotta-floored space which looks out onto a lovely courtyard - the perfect place to plot your day's trajectory. Adjacent Oswald Ln is a dead-end of sorts with some parking available, although you're far better off using public transport or taxis to get to and from your Darlinghurst den.
