A purpose-built guesthouse with neatly designed rooms each with private entrance and patio, a beautiful garden, pergola and swimming pool. It's also in a good, secure location more or less halfway between Rosebank and Sandton. The Craighall offers a distinctive country style in a distinctly suburban setting thanks to the attention to detail and hands-on approach of the owners. Each of the five purpose-built double rooms is clean, plush and quaint. The rooms aren't especially big, but each has a small patio perfect for outdoor eating. For the rest (including the fully equipped, five-star self-catering chalet) there's a beautiful rose garden, pergola and pool. The main house is warm and inviting, with an on-site booze supply, burgundy shades throughout and a wood-burning fireplace for those freezing Joburg winter nights.
