Barely one year old, Hilton Kuala Lumpur has raised the bar on opulence. The focus on artistry is evident wherever you look, from the creatively quilted rugs in the rooms to the striking statues in the lobby, and so are the high standards expected of an International Hotel.

Hilton Kuala Lumpur splashes with more colour than you'd expect at an International Hotel. There's bright blue stained-glass windows, cracked glass flooring and a massive wire sculpture of Atlas. But this new player's efforts go beyond first impressions: they flew in designers and chefs from around the world to put together the menus, bar lists, and many other facilities. Even the rooms are designed to suit your desire, whether it be relaxation or business. Bathtubs are extra deep, chairs are ergonomic and there's a complete theatre system with LCD TV. And of course there's a two-storey gym and a lagoon of a pool fringed by rainforest vegetation.
