Lonely Planet Review

Palermo's swankiest digs mean minimalist design plus modern comfort. The seven rooms are designed as their names suggest: Art Deco, Minimalista, Pop... The two best (thanks primarily to their decks) are Minimalista and Techno. Another room boasts a giant Jacuzzi, complete with candles and skylight windows, perfect for night-time romance.Bo Bo is short for 'bourgeois bohemian', though Bo Mi (bourgeois minimalist) would be far more accurate. Walk through the big iron doors and you're standing inside one of Palermo's swankiest restaurants (also called Bo Bo). The rooms are upstairs and have all the mod-cons necessary. The Pop room boasts a tub with a window over the bath, while the stand-out touches are its strip lighting, stainless-steel bathroom sink, small balcony, industrial TV-table and glass desk. 'Argentina' (the suite) comes complete with DVD and a skylight window over the bed. All the furnishings are slick and modern and, while the rooms are divinely comfy, some are modern to the point of being cold. Still, it's an excellent choice if you want to sleep luxuriously in Palermo. Plus, it's on one of the prettiest streets in the area, cobbled and lined with giant black-trunked trees.
