We loved checking this one out! A thorough refurbishment warrants a full tour, and the friendly, sassy staff here are more than willing to show the place off to its full advantage. Plus it boasts the best beachfront location, hands down.

You'll find 16 rooms decorated in a minimalist, modern style, with plenty of chocolate-brown hues oozing a luxurious, indulgent vibe. Standard rooms are delightfully comfy, but, c'mon, why stay here if you're not after a sight of the sea? And our tip for penny pinchers (relatively speaking at these rates)? Go for a side view room - you'll bag a balcony and a glimpse of North Bondi (the prettier end) for a lot less than the beachfront room - meaning you can afford to eat at the cool restaurant on the premises, where you really must try to nab a balcony table on a sunny day. All rooms have TV and DVD, plus wi-fi.
