We loved checking this one out! The recent refurbishments warrants a full tour, and the friendly, sassy staff are more than willing to show the place off to its full advantage. Plus it boasts Sydney's best beachfront location, hands down.

Upstairs at Ravesi's (pronounced 'Rav-ee-sees') you'll find 12 gloriously sleek rooms decorated in a minimalist, modern style, with plenty of chocolate-brown hues oozing a luxurious, indulgent vibe. Our tip for penny pinchers (relatively speaking at these rates)? Go for a side view room - you'll bag a balcony and a view over North Bondi (the better-looking end of the beach) for a lot less than the beach front room - meaning you can afford to eat at the hip restaurant downstairs (where you clearly must try and nab a balcony table on a sunny day). The top-flight room is the apartment-sized, split-level suite, complete with entertainment terrace. All rooms have cable TV and DVD, plus wi-fi access.
