This stylish 100-room hotel, mid-way between Little India and Chow Kit, is a smart and well-presented business hotel. It offers good mid-range value for money (breakfast included). Rooms are clean and insulated from traffic noise. This five-storey hotel is smack bang on a busy intersection, but car rumblings are well shut out once you enter. The lobby, with its dark marble and subtle iron lacework touches, has a Deco feel. Attention to design is a selling point here (choose from 'homely' or 'modern' suites), but rooms can be a little eclectic: dark tones of heavy bedspreads interrupted by traffic-light bright Miro-esque furniture. That, of course, doesn't lessen the comfort of this solidly mid-range hotel, conveniently located near two of KL's train lines and on the cusp of two highly charged commercial districts. The hotel's Rempah brasserie always has percolator coffee at the ready, as well as well-priced lunch specials. Staff are patient and personable.
