Georgians know hospitality. The proof is in the fine restaurants - like the Moscow landmark Tiflis - and in this refined, four-star hotel under the same management (formerly Hotel Tiflis). With 80 rooms, the business hotel offers an intimate atmosphere and personalised service.

The 19th-century Georgian mansion housing the restaurant Tiflis is a long-standing favourite in Moscow, offering Caucasian favourites in an upscale atmosphere. Next door, the Kebur Palace Hotel boasts an equally refined style, with zodiac-themed wall paintings, dark leather furniture and polished-wood moulding adorning the elegant lobby. The in-room decor also borders on exotic, with heavy drapes, patterned carpet and rich colours. The variation in rates reflects the views: pricier rooms feature balconies overlooking the lovely fountain-filled patio. The 'small single' is a bit dark and cramped, but a steal at half the price of the others.
