Lonely Planet review
For a budget hotel in Minsk, this is possibly the best deal. The women on staff are kind and motherly and the hotel is rather small, which gives it a homely sort of feel. They'll take care of you…

It's just one of many monolithic Soviet-era hotels, but Belarus is clearly the most well known. There are other similar places within spitting distance, but perhaps because it's the most popular,…
Situated right next to and looking strikingly similar to the Presidential Administrative Building (Lukashenka's workplace and residence), the Oktyabrsky is where Belarusian politicos from the reg…
Dark and cheerless, the only thing the Ekspress has going for it are its cheap prices and convenient location, smack dab between the central bus station and the train station.
If you want no surprises and no hassles, you won't be disappointed with Hotel Minsk. Service is everything it should be - no more, no less - while the smallish, Western-standard, chain-style room…
