Lonely Planet Review
Cool blues and aquamarines combine with dark parquet floors to lend this inner-city hotel a quiet charm. While admittedly on the small side, all rooms are impeccably presented and look onto the street or back lanes. Every room contains furnishings that would look at home in an interior design magazine. In its price range, this is one of the best deals in town.
Even the rubbish bins here are the height of fashion. Bathrooms are suitably luxurious and will give you plenty of elegant ideas for the next time you decide to renovate. As an added bonus all rooms face out from the building - so there is natural light in abundance - which is more unusual in Barcelona than you'll realise if you stay here. The location, on the cusp of the Barri Gòtic in the cool El Born district, makes for an ideal base in Barcelona.
