Lonely Planet Review
Rated as one of the city's top hotels, this place's spacious, swish rooms have street or river views. Service is excellent and, as the hotel is attached to the Youyi Lufthansa Center, the amenities are endless.
The location next to the Lufthansa Center Youyi Shopping City might be convenient for shopping sprees, but this corner of Beijing has precious little history. If you want gleaming shoes, stop off at the shoe-shine man and his marvellous, glittering brass shoe rest in the lobby (he operates from 07:00 to 22:00). There's a large range of shops, including carpet shops and art galleries (with insipid art work). There is also a decent gym and a good deli and bakery.
