Lonely Planet Review
An advertisement for this high-rise hotel that featured a laughing cosmopolitan family skipping across the foyer wouldn't actually be off-key. There's a noticeable atmosphere of superior modern comfort and ease here. Rooms vary in quality but this is fortunately matched by the price.
The cheapest rooms are in the west wing. Considering the full range of amenities the hotel offers (pool, gym, multiple eating and drinking options), this is a great bargain. East wing rooms are larger and have a striking cobalt blue motif. We wouldn't say the overall design is really stylish, but neither is it tasteless. It might even feel a lot like home. The hotel features nonsmoking floors, which is refreshing in this city and may be part of the reason many families make this their choice of stay. The last feature to recommend this hotel is its location just off Wangfujing Dajie and a short walk to the Forbidden City. If you don't have a good time staying in this Beijing neighbourhood, it's really your own fault.
