Lonely Planet Review
Built in 2001, Art Suites offers ultra-modern yet totally comfortable apartment-style accommodation in two- or four-room units, complete with daily room service and breakfast. The four-roomers are great for families (put the kids in the other room!), and all are stylishly decorated. Short-term stays are fine.
From the curved-glass entryway with its white leather couches to the carefully chosen rugs in the rooms, Art Suites is straight up style. It was designed by local architects Juan and Lucia Bersteche, and while the apartments are definitely minimalist, they're also very comfortable. The larger ones have two bedrooms and two bathrooms, and all feature blonde wood floors, beige walls, grey curtains and handsome modern furniture. Most of the kitchens are narrow and have plain white, melamine cupboards and two-top burners. In the smaller units, they're offset from the living room, rather than being separate. All have sofa beds, designer tables and even balconies or a patio. The four-room suite is the best, with large windows on every wall flooding the rooms with light. Traditional rugs on the floors add pleasant contrast to the modern décor.
