Lonely Planet Review
Unsigned and conveniently situated a stone's throw from Plaza Dorrego, BA's first gay B&B occupies a handsomely converted house with small, pleasant rooms, two Jacuzzis, and a three-level rooftop terrace where the boys (it's all male) bronze their bodies in the afternoon sun.
Inside Lugar Gay, you'll find one of the most creative uses of small space in the city. The cosy common room with cafe lies right outside a small salon for tango lessons, and there's a closet kitchenette for quick snacks. A spiral staircase leads up past a miniature door (pop inside to use the internet) and up to the rooftop terrace. Up here, a mirrored outdoor urinal makes whippin' out the tool a rather public experience, but hey, it's a friendly place, and who's really going to watch when someone's already commanding attention at the exercise machine. Plus, the sunshine (and one of the Jacuzzis) is beckoning from that rooftop terrace. The rooms are small, spotless and comfortable, and opportunities for meeting fellow guests abound.
