Lonely Planet Review
Golf anyone? One of the city's oddest sleep options, it's called a hostel, but in reality Arpina is a mixed-use commercial project with beds for 469 people and a sports centre including a golf driving range. It's a great option for people who like to stay active while on the road.
If buildings could possess a human character, this facility would be diagnosed with multiple personality disorder. Is it a hotel or youth hostel? Sports complex or wedding hall? Actually, it's all of the above and more. Ideal for travellers who want to spend time on their neglected training regime, this quirky complex has on-site access to an impressive sports centre (open 06:00 to 22:00), including a five-lane pool, a respectably equipped health club and a 100-yard driving range with a limited selection of scratch clubs (mostly 7 and 9 irons; no lefties). There's also a 24-hour sauna and jjimjilbang. Simple bunks are packed into sterile rooms, though there's better value and comfort if a group books a room for itself.
