Lonely Planet Review
The star attractions of this long-popular budget hotel are its two helpful brothers, Surinder and Rajinder. Apart from dispensing advice about the city, they can arrange car hire in and beyond Delhi, including Rajasthan.
Most of the Namaskar's 32 simple and sparsely furnished rooms, spread over four floors, aren't overly scintillating but have a fresh coat of marshmallow-pink paint and are good value considering the price. All rooms come with their own private bathroom; most of the cheapest rooms have hot showers, however a few have hot water by the bucket (no charge). The more expensive rooms are generally larger than the others, including the size of the bathroom. Most rooms thankfully have a small outside-facing window, which means you'll receive some sunshine even if it's just a few rays. Namaskar is located in a small lane snaking off chaotic Main Bazaar, so the rooms here don't cop as much noise pollution as those located right on the main drag - a real bonus. Meals aren't available at the hotel, but there's no dearth of cheap eateries nearby.
